Terms of Service

What you are buying, how billing works, what we guarantee, and the rules for both sides. Read the guarantee section. It matters.

What Valtro is

Valtro is a done-for-you marketing service for local service businesses. We are not a software tool you log into and operate yourself. We are a managed service: we do the work, you approve it before it goes live, and we handle the publishing.

The service is AI-assisted. That means we use artificial intelligence to generate content drafts, audit your online presence, and surface recommendations. Every deliverable is reviewed before it reaches you, and nothing goes live without your explicit approval through your client portal.

Valtro operates as Valtro (DBA filing pending in New Jersey). References to "we," "us," and "Valtro" in these terms all mean the same entity. By using our service, you agree to these terms.

The Launchpad (one-time setup)

The Launchpad is a one-time setup fee that covers the foundational work to get your business properly represented online. It includes:

  • A new website built and deployed on your behalf
  • A full marketing and SEO audit of your current online presence
  • A brand voice profile capturing how your business sounds and talks
  • Google Business Profile setup and optimization
  • Your first 30 days of social content queued and ready to approve
  • Access to your client portal where you approve all content

The Launchpad is a one-time charge. It is not a subscription. Once the setup is complete, the Launchpad fee is non-refundable except as outlined in the guarantee section below.

If you are signing up during the beta period, pricing and specific deliverable scope will be confirmed in writing before your card is charged. The beta rate is available for the first 10 clients only.

Monthly plans

After the Launchpad, you choose a monthly plan for ongoing marketing. Plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on what you select at checkout.

Monthly billing

Monthly plans renew automatically every 30 days using the payment method on file through Stripe. You can cancel any monthly plan at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not prorate partial months, and we do not issue refunds for the current cycle after billing has run.

Annual billing

Annual plans are billed upfront for 10 months of service. You receive 12 months of access. This is the full extent of the annual discount: you pay for 10, you get 12. Annual plan fees are non-refundable once the plan is activated. If you cancel an annual plan early, you retain access through the end of the 12-month period but no refund is issued for the unused months.

Price changes

We will give you at least 30 days written notice before increasing the price of your current plan. If you do not cancel before the new price takes effect, your continued use of the service after the notice period is your agreement to the new price.

Our Guarantee

30 days. We ship your website, GBP, and social setup. You verify it's live.

If we don't get it live, you get 50% back. We also redo the audit and give you the next month free. Here's what you do: approve the content we send to your portal, sign off on your website, and launch it within 30 days. The guarantee triggers if we miss. We can't deliver work you have to launch.

To claim the guarantee, you must email victor@valtro.ai within 37 days of your Launchpad going live with a description of the issue. We will review your account, confirm that all approved content was published as scheduled, and process the refund or extension within 10 business days.

The guarantee applies to the Launchpad setup only. It does not apply to ongoing monthly plan fees, and it does not apply if content was withheld from publishing because you did not approve it through the portal.

Content and ownership

Your content

You own your brand. Your logo, photos, videos, business name, and anything you bring to Valtro remain yours. You own your voice profile. You own the content we generate for your business once you approve and publish it. Valtro does not claim ownership over any content you create or that we create specifically for your business.

Your website

The website we build for you is your property. If you ever leave Valtro, you take your website with you. We will provide an export of the code within 30 days of your account closure. If your site is hosted on Valtro-managed infrastructure, you will need to arrange alternative hosting before we can transfer it.

Aggregate data and platform improvement

Valtro retains the right to use aggregate, anonymized analytics across all client accounts to improve the platform. This means things like: "what types of content get higher engagement on average" or "what audit findings are most common." Your specific business data is never shared with other clients or included in any public report.

Content you provide

You are responsible for ensuring that any photos, videos, or written materials you submit for use in your marketing are owned by you or properly licensed. If a third-party rights holder raises a claim against content you provided, that is your responsibility, not Valtro's.

What you may not use Valtro for

Valtro is a legitimate marketing service for legitimate businesses. The following are prohibited:

  • Sending spam, unsolicited commercial messages, or bulk email to people who have not opted in
  • Publishing content that is false, deceptive, or designed to mislead consumers (including fake reviews or fabricated testimonials)
  • Using the platform to promote illegal products or services
  • Impersonating another person, business, or brand in any published content
  • Using your client portal access to probe or interfere with the security of the platform
  • Violating the terms of service of any social media platform connected to your account (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn)

If we discover a material violation of these terms, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without a refund. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before doing so, except where the violation is illegal or poses an immediate security risk.

Cancellation and termination

Canceling a monthly plan

You can cancel your monthly plan at any time through your client portal or by emailing victor@valtro.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to your portal and all published content until the period ends.

Annual plans

Annual plans may be canceled at any time, but no refund is issued for unused months. You retain access through the end of the 12-month period you paid for.

Termination by Valtro

We may terminate your account if you violate these terms, fail to pay after two billing attempts, or request that we do something illegal or harmful. In non-urgent cases, we will give you 14 days notice and the chance to resolve the issue before terminating.

What happens to your data when you leave

See the data retention section of our Privacy Policy. Your account data is kept for 30 days post-closure, then deleted. You can request an export of your data at any time.

What we do not guarantee

We guarantee the work gets done and goes live as described in the guarantee section. We do not guarantee specific outcomes beyond that. Marketing results depend on many factors outside our control, including your market, your competition, your pricing, your product, and how algorithms change over time. Specifically:

  • We do not guarantee a specific number of leads, calls, or bookings from any content we publish.
  • We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings for any keyword at any point in time.
  • We do not guarantee that social platforms will not change their algorithms in ways that reduce reach.
  • We do not guarantee that your Google Business Profile will rank in the top 3 results for any specific search.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valtro's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the service is limited to the total fees you paid to Valtro in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost profits, or loss of business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to the maximum extent permitted by your local law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If the changes are material (affecting your billing, your rights, or what we deliver), we will email active clients at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you can cancel before they take effect.

Minor changes (grammar fixes, clarifications that do not affect your rights or obligations) will be reflected with an updated "Last updated" date without a separate email.
